Cape Foundry had thirty years of specs, supplier correspondence and quality records spread across filing cabinets, shared drives and a handful of legacy systems nobody wanted to touch. Eight weeks after kickoff, all of it was queryable through xlabs OS — without migrating a single system off its existing infrastructure.
The approach
Rather than a data migration project, the rollout connected xlabs OS’s ingestion channels directly to Cape Foundry’s existing document stores and email. The platform indexed what already existed in place, then layered Defect Detection and Supply Chain Visibility on top once the Knowledge base was live.
